  • Beskrivelse: The young and beautiful Helen leads a double life. During the day, she is a model posing nude for a famous and wealthy painter, Mina, and at night she works as a call girl for Stamatis Velenopoulos’ agency, located in a villa in Palaio Psychiko, which is run by Nana Provata. Aside from his involvement in prostitution, Stamatis is also a drug dealer in association with a businessman, Kalogridis, who is the president of a charitable organization and a regular customer of Helen’s. One day, a poor but charming young plumber named Alekos appears, first becoming Helen’s lover under Minas’ protection. Later, he is so taken with Helen’s charms that he marries her. The young woman’s past soon surfaces, gradually poisoning their relationship. Alekos kicks Helen out, and she is forced to return to her old job. After Stamatis’s arrest in Constantinople, the Greek police raid the villa. Trying to escape, Helen meets with a tragic death, and Nana is also arrested. In court, the judge prevents the defendant Stamatis from giving the names of the real perpetrators and the “proper” presiding chair of the jury, Kologridis, announces the verdict with particular gravity.
